Welcome to Showtime Academy! We teach lessons in singing, acting, tap, ballet, jazz, modern and pointe. We put on a variety of shows throughout the year and push our kids to be the best they can be!

We currently have two schools up and running: Threemilestone Showtime Academy and St Day Showtime Academy. Both schools are run by Mrs Nicki Reid, with the help of Miss Sue Farmer and Miss Cecily Reid. Our classes range from the age of 3-30!

ABOUT US

Threemilestone Showtime Academy provides an enriched learning environment and inviting atmosphere. Founded in 2015, the school is located in both Threemilestone and St Day, Cornwall. We offer classes in ISTD Tap, ISTD Modern, RAD Ballet, all ages singing and drama and the opportunity to perform in countless shows and take exams. We have several students and staff, who are eager to learn, create and grow together.

PRE-PRIMARY AND PRIMARY

Ballet, Tap and Modern

In both Threemilestone and St Day we offer RAD pre-primary (or pre-school) ballet and primary ballet, tap and modern. Ballet is half an hour a week, whereas tap and modern are fifteen minutes. These classes are for anyone from the ages of 3-6yrs old.

JUNIORS

Ballet, Tap, and Modern

In both Threemilestone and St Day we offer classes in RAD Ballet and ISTD Tap and Modern, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 3. All lessons are for half an hour and are available to anyone from the ages of 7-13yrs old.

SENIORS

Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Pointe

In Theemilestone we offer senior classes in RAD Ballet and Pointe and ISTD Tap, Modern and Jazz Medals. All the classes are half an hour long and range from anyone aged 14-30yrs old.

PRODUCTION ARTS

Lighting and Sound tech, Prop Building and Set Design

If performing isn't your thing but you still love the stage, then we offer a production arts lesson in Threemilestone. This is an hour long class and is available to anyone aged 10+yrs. We build and design set for the upcoming shows, as well as learn how to use the lighting and sound systems.

SINGING AND DRAMA

From musicals to pop!

In both Threemilestone and St Day, we offer a half an hour singing class and a half an hour drama class for all ages. We sing anything from musicals to pop and work on drama games and scripts.

SHOWS

A lot of performances

Over the course of the year, we take part in a number of shows. These can range from pantomimes and Christmas shows, to community performances in Truro Sainsburys and Truro Library! All the shows are optional and are available for anyone to do! They are normally rehearsed on Friday evenings and Sunday mornings.

ADULT CLASSES

Modern Theatre and Tap

As part of our St Day school and in association with Black Cat Dance we offer classes for adults who like a bit of fun with gentle fitness, including fun exercises, team work and some great, classic showstoppers! These classes are an hour long.

TIMETABLES

These are our timetables for our Threemilestone and St Day Classes. Threemilstone Classes are on Thursdays in Threemilestone Community Hall. St Day Classes are on Saturdays in St Day Methodist Church, as well as Adult classes which are on Mondays in St Day Methodist Church.

All classes are £3 apart from the primary modern and tap which are £1.50. There is a discount if you pay half-termly.

Adult classes are £6 for one class and £10 for both.

SUMMER SHOWCASE 2019

Summer

We're performing our annual summer showcase, and this year our theme's the circus! Watch our own devised circus story with songs, dances and maybe a couple of tricks.

ALI BABA AND THE 40 THIEVES

7th, 8th and 9th February 2019

Watch us join up with Threemilestone Amateur Dramatics Society to put on this years panto of Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves!

EXAMS

Easter and Summer

In both Easter and Summer, we are providing our students the opportunity to take LAMDA Drama exams, as well as RAD Ballet and ISTD Tap, Jazz and Modern exams. All these exams not only provide a new opportunity to learn, but also provide UCAS points.
